Jotis Investments Acquires Stamou Dairy


JOTIS INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENTS ACQUIRES THE KNOWN STAMOU DAIRY COMPANY

Under  the control of the historic JOTIS company, according to secure information, is being passed the well-known STAMOS dairy company.

On May 23, the General Board of STAMOS was held, according to which it was decided that the shareholder of Mr Georgios Stamou is entitled to offer to the shareholder "Jotis International Investments" for sale the remaining shares in Stamos and Jotis International Investments "will have the obligation to buy these options (put option) .The price of this transaction (ie the value of each share) will be take place at a price of 11,30 euros per share, plus any non-subscribed dividends of George Stamou from the completion to the put option exercise time.

GIOTIS, with an annual turnover of about 73m euros, is a leading player in the industries of maize blossom, caramel cream, jelly cream, cakes, baby creams and baby milk. With this move, it enters a market where up to now, it was not present before. As far as STAMOU is concerned, it has been active in the production and marketing of dairy products since 1964.

In addition to STAMOS, GIOTIS INDUSTRY, in collaboration with the catering chain Grigoris Mikrofilema, has submitted a proposal to acquire "Dodoni Ice Cream".
